Estimating & Operations Assistant

We are recruiting an Estimating & Operations Assistant to join our team based in Newburgh, Aberdeenshire.

Your role will be instrumental in delivering and maintaining high quality support and service within our Operations team, which will help us achieve our company objectives and strategy. This will include:

  • Working with estimating teams to help secure future projects for the company.
  • Contributing to project planning, programmes, lift plans, etc.
  • Obtaining the best prices, and procuring parts and materials.
  • Managing and tracking steel purchases to comply with EN 1090.
  • Pricing and supporting KR Sheet Metal projects.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Has work experience in a similar role.
  • Can demonstrate knowledge of the construction industry (or willing to learn about it).
  • Interpersonal skills to build and sustain effective relationships internally and externally.
  • The ability to manage their own workload, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, and a willingness to learn new systems.
