And I would walk 15.7 miles… and I would walk 15.7 more!
It doesn’t quite have the same ring to it. But combined, we gave the Proclaimers a run for their money, gained a few blisters, and raised a brilliant £1,370 for AberNecessities.
The KiltWalk, which took place on 29th May, saw Team KR walk from Crathes Castle in Banchory to Duthie Park.
The next day, the smell of Deep Heat radiated through the office and walking to the kettle seemed a monumental task. Even so, we are proud to have another charity walk under our belts (or kilts!) and look forward to doing it all again next year.
Thank you to everyone that donated and cheered us on. The money raised will go to local charity, AberNecessities, who provides disadvantaged families with essential and basic necessities, such as maternity bundles for mother and baby, nappies, formula milk, clothing, toys and equipment for children aged 0-18 years, and more.
Fundraising for our KiltWalk is over, but you can still support AberNecessities by donating to our year-round Justgiving page here.
