In November 2020, KR Group were enlisted to install roof cladding safety netting and wall cladding panels for the new Amazon warehouse in Aberdeen.

For this project, we were awarded the full cladding package, working alongside ACCIO C&C, which involved supplying and installing roof and wall cladding panels, nets, edge protection and a safety tower. We also supplied and installed flashings, rainwater goods, and valley gutters as well as all the aluminium portal frames and secondary steelwork.

This project was a 7-day work week for our team to ensure the project deadline was met. On top of this, they had to work through bad weather and even Storm Francis. Nevertheless, this never stopped them from completing the project on time and within the agreed-upon budget.

This was a high-profile, challenging build and the KR team worked hard to deliver this project efficiently and to the highest standard for the client.
