KR Group Scotland proudly collaborated with Aberdeenshire Council on the transformation of the Faithlie Centre in Saltoun Square, Fraserburgh with Cor-ten steel cladding—an eagerly awaited project that plays a key role in the regeneration of the town centre.

Situated in the heart of this historic coastal town, the Faithlie Centre blends contemporary design with heritage architecture. KR Group was responsible for the installation of distinctive Cor-ten steel cladding panels, which form a striking exterior façade. The weathered Cor-ten steel cladding provides both durability and a visually rich, rust-like patina that complements the building’s original stonework.

Our experienced cladding team worked in close partnership with Moxon Architects and Aberdeenshire Council to ensure every detail of the installation met the highest standards. The project required careful coordination and precision, particularly given the need to integrate the modern extension seamlessly with the existing historic structure.

The result is a bold architectural statement that respects the past while embracing the future—a true landmark for the Fraserburgh community.
