Our client needed two types of custom, fixed blade louvres for their project, each designed to meet specific size and functionality requirements.

The first type consisted of four large louvres, each measuring 3990mm wide, 500mm high, and 150mm deep. To ensure seamless installation, we supplied each louvre in two parts, measuring 1995mm wide each, along with a joining strip. These louvres were also fitted with insect mesh at the rear to allow proper airflow while keeping pests and debris out.

The second type was a single louvre, measuring 1985mm wide, 1180mm high, and 150mm deep. Like the first set, this louvre also featured insect mesh at the rear for ventilation and protection.

For durability and strength, we fabricated all of the fixed blade louvres from 2mm aluminium. Once the fabrication process was complete, we applied a high-quality polyester powder coating to five of the louvres in RAL3020 Traffic Red. This finish not only provided a striking appearance but also added an extra layer of protection against environmental wear and corrosion.

Once ready, we carefully prepared the louvres for transport. Given the client’s location in the Highlands and Islands, we arranged for delivery via ferry to ensure safe and efficient shipment. Upon arrival, the client successfully installed the louvres as part of ongoing maintenance work at an energy recovery plant.
