Constructing a better future: New EV charging points at KR Group

KR Group has installed two EV charging points at its HQ in Aberdeenshire as part of an ongoing commitment to sustainability.

With the evolution of the construction industry, there is an increasing demand for environmentally responsible practices. At KR Group, we believe in leading by example. The new electric car charging points are part of a wider effort to reduce carbon footprint and utilise practical solutions for a sustainable future.

Other initiatives include our KR Bon Reduction division, solar PV panels, an on-site wormery, and rainwater harvesting system. In addition, we hold ISO14001 and PAS2060 accreditation, and have obtained certification as a carbon-neutral organisation. All actions we take are led by our environmental policies, and carbon reduction strategy.

The charging points are strategically located at our main office, ensuring easy access for employees, clients, and visitors. Whether you are visiting or just passing by, we offer the convenience of charging your electric vehicle at our facility.

Staff and visitors can use the EV spaces, located near the exit gate in our main carpark, on a daily basis. Members of the public can use the EV chargers from 17:00 to 08:00, and all day on Saturday/Sunday.

For more information, including times and prices, check out ZapMap. To make payment, users scan a QR code on the charger. Alternatively, users can download the Fuuse app on a mobile device – available on the App Store or Google Play.
