Your apprenticeship or traineeship will be hands-on from day one! You’ll join a team, working alongside experienced professionals to build your skills and confidence. You’ll also get the chance to work with other teams, helping you see the bigger picture of how the organisation runs.

You’ll get all the training and certifications you need to do the job, plus plenty of opportunities to learn through real work experience and taught sessions. On top of that, you’ll be working towards your Modern Apprenticeship qualification, which could be done in-house or at college—depending on your program.

It depends on your apprenticeship or traineeship! If you’re in a site-based role, you’ll mostly be working on-site. If you’re in a workshop or office apprenticeship, you’ll be based at our headquarters in Newburgh, Aberdeenshire.

If you have a car, that’s great! If not, and you’re based at our Newburgh headquarters, there are bus links from Aberdeen and Peterhead.  If you are site-based, and don’t have transportation, we can make arrangements depending on where you live (e.g. van share)

It depends on the apprenticeship or traineeship, but there are often no formal entry requirements. We’re looking for a good track record at school and a genuine interest in the construction industry!
