Project Overview

As part of a larger strip-and-reclad refurbishment project for an agricultural client in Oldmeldrum, our team was tasked with designing a new gutter system to integrate with the existing roof junction. The design needed to accommodate a change in roof pitch from 15° to 5° while aligning with the existing purlin spacing.

1.2mm membrane lined galvanised internal skin

40mm insulation core

0.7mm BWLE external skin

Solution

The resulting solution was a high-performance, insulated, membrane-lined gutter system, fabricated and installed by our team. A total of six bespoke membrane-lined insulated gutters were manufactured in our sheet metal workshop in practical 3-metre sections to facilitate efficient handling and installation on site. Each section was supplied with lapped joints to enhance watertightness and ensure long-term durability.

The successful completion of this project demonstrates our capability to deliver bespoke solutions that support the performance and longevity of agricultural buildings.
