Project Overview

A private client approached KR Group seeking a custom-made heat shield for their log burner. The objective was to create a practical and durable solution that would improve the stove’s efficiency by deflecting heat back in to the room while protecting the wall behind it from excessive heat exposure.

Project Specifications

Material: Galvanised Steel, mill finish

Dimensions: 1150mm high with 15mm safe edges

Profile: 15 x 575 x 575 x 15mm with a 90-degree bend

Solution

To ensure a perfect fit within the client’s home, the heat shield was manufactured to precise, made-to-measure specifications.

Using high-quality galvanised mill finish steel, the shield was manufactured with a precision-folded 90-degree bend with safety edges; the client then painted the shield to integrate seamlessly into their home.
