KR Group’s Charity Commitment for 2026

In 2025, KR Group proudly partnered with Men in Mind, a local men’s mental health support group. Throughout the year, our team took part in a range of fundraising events, company-wide challenges and internal initiatives to support the charity and raise awareness of men’s mental health.

Thanks to the incredible efforts of our team and the wider community, we raised over £5,600 to help Men in Mind continue delivering peer support and community-based mental health services across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Building on the success of last year, KR Group is taking a new approach to our charity efforts in 2026. This year, we will be supporting several charities throughout the year, combining fundraising initiatives with volunteering opportunities to provide both financial and practical support to organisations making a real difference in our communities.

Karen McAra, HR Business Partner at KR Group commented:

“At KR Group, giving back to the communities we work in is very important to us. This year we’re proud to support several incredible charities that provide vital services to people and families across the Northeast of Scotland. Our partnerships include Friends of ANCHOR, UCAN Aberdeen, Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance, Kayleigh’s Wee Stars, The Archie Foundation and Cash for Kids.”

“Through a mix of fundraising and volunteering, we’re looking forward to supporting the important work they do and helping make a positive difference.”

Throughout the year, we’ll be spotlighting each of these charities   to highlight the incredible work they do and the lives they impact. We’ll also be sharing updates on our fundraising events and activities so if you’d like to get involved and show your support, keep an eye on our website and social media channels.

Our First Charity Initiative

Our first charity effort is already underway.

The KR Group offices are currently acting as a drop-off point for donations for Friends of ANCHOR’s upcoming Tree of Indulgence raffle. They’re aiming to collect 800 raffle prizes, and with your help, we can make a meaningful contribution.

Friends of ANCHOR are looking for a range of prizes, including vouchers (£15 – £100), beauty gift sets, bottles of fizz or spirits, homeware items such as candles or cookbooks, jewellery, accessories, and experiences such as concert or sports tickets.

If you would like to contribute, simply drop off your donation at our official collection point at our offices in Loanhead Industrial Estate, Newburgh before the end of April.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make a difference for people and families facing incredibly difficult circumstances.
