For more than two decades, KR Group Scotland has partnered with farmers across the Northeast, supplying robust steel and cladding solutions that have become trusted fixtures in fields, yards, and farmsteads from Banff to Stonehaven.
Now, with the launch of KR AgriBuild, a dedicated agricultural division based at our Aberdeenshire HQ, we’re taking that commitment further by offering a fully tailored service for Scotland’s farming community. Focused on sheds, barns, and storage buildings, the division delivers durable structures built for farm life and Scotland’s tough climate.
Although agricultural work has always been a cornerstone of our business, this move brings sharper focus and greater capability. We recently acquired a groundworks division focused on agricultural projects, offering farmers a complete turnkey service. From the first dig to final installation, every stage is handled in-house. With KR Group’s fleet of plant and lifting equipment, we ensure full project control, tighter schedules, and leaner costs.
Managing Director, Kenny Robertson said:
“Our farming roots run deep – many of our team come from agricultural backgrounds themselves, so they understand the sector, care about its future, and take real pride in delivering for farmers.”
“With KR AgriBuild, we’ve pulled together all of that knowledge and passion into one dedicated service, giving farmers a partner they can rely on.”
Safety and equipment
Safety also remains a top priority. As a FASET-accredited company, KR Group upholds the highest industry standards. Never cutting corners and ensuring every build is carried out responsibly and securely.
KR AgriBuild’s services range from full turnkey builds – including design, groundworks, fabrication and installation – to alterations, extensions, and repairs of existing sheds. Post-build, the division provides maintenance support such as gutter cleaning, ensuring every structure continues to perform for years to come.
All of this is backed by KR Group’s investment in its fabrication workshops, now equipped with cutting-edge robotic technology. The result: precision-made components, faster turnaround, less waste, and buildings that erect quickly, cost less, and last longer.
Business Director, Nicola Fraser added:
“When we deliver an agricultural project, we know we’re not just putting up a shed – we’re building something that supports a livelihood. That’s why we focus on trust, quality, and value. With our upgraded workshops, in-house groundworks, and full fleet of plant, we’re better placed than ever to deliver reliable, cost-effective buildings that farmers can depend on.”
The launch of KR AgriBuild strengthens our farming community ties and expands presence at events like the Turriff Show. A new section of our website highlights AgriBuild’s services, past farm projects, customer testimonials, and special offers.
With over 20 years’ experience, our business is known for reliability, craftsmanship, and strong rural sector ties.
The launch of KR AgriBuild – backed by groundworks, in-house plant, and fabrication workshops – shows our renewed commitment. We provide Scotland’s farmers with dependable, cost-effective buildings designed for the future.
