Safety Net & Edge Protection Installer

We are recruiting a Safety Net and Edge Protection Installer or Trainee Rigger to work onsite in Aberdeenshire and beyond. Thanks to continued growth, KR Group is looking to expand it’s FASET team.

Role & Responsibilities

Main Activities
  • Assist with all FASET safety aspects at KR Group including safety net and edge protection installation, erecting alloy/scaffolding towers, safety lines installation and testing, face fit testing for COSHH activity, harness and lanyard inspections and plant maintenance/inspections.
  • Assist with the completion of safety projects and ensure a quality service on site.
  • Work with QHSE team to ensure documentation completed and up to date.
  • Help create and work to Risk Assessments and Method Statements for projects across all companies within KR Group.
  • Regularly inspect and monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring Health, Safety and Environmental regulations are met, and waste is kept to a minimum.
  • Assist on Steel and Cladding installation projects as required.
  • Actively promote our products, services and brand.

General Activities
  • Communicate and maintain good relationships with team, customers, suppliers and all external bodies in a clear, positive and professional manner.
  • Actively promote our products, services, values and messaging to ensure customers buy into our brand.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, while adapting working practices when required to ensure maximum productivity and efficiencies.
  • Utilise our systems fully to ensure accurate input and reporting.
  • Demonstrate awareness and responsibility for the safety of self and others.
  • Attend, participate, capture and complete assigned actions in all relevant meetings.
  • Contribute to the general running and development of the business.
  • Keep workspace, documentation and filing organised and tidy.
  • Take pride in our facilities, ensuring they are kept safe, clean and tidy at all times.
  • Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the business.
  • Make sure first aid is administered to any construction worker.
  • Motivate all participants in the project.
  • Identify any potential problems at the site and work to prevent them.
