Working in partnership with MTM Construction and Knight Property Group, KR Group fabricated and installed over 140 tonnes of structural steel for this exciting project. In addition, our team installed the external roof and wall cladding, and an internal steel decked mezzanine floor.

Valued at £10 million, the cutting edge showroom and service facility opened in March 2024. Located on a 5.2-acre site in Aberdeen, the development for the Ford dealer group spans 27,000 square ft, and includes a 2-acre car storage compound.

Constructed with environmental sustainability in mind, the facility achieved an EPC ‘A’ rating. It will house a fleet of 300 new and used cars, and generate approximately 50 jobs in the Aberdeen area.

For efficiency, we manufactured, and delivered the steel rafters to site in 20-metre lengths to create the 40-metre span showroom.

Highlights of the project were delivering the project on time, and to a high specification. Furthermore, we enjoyed working with repeat client, MTM, on this exciting project. Our expert team ensured smooth delivery of the work scope in a safe manner.
