KR Group are seeking an enthusiastic individual, with an interest in construction, to join our team as a Trainee Site Operative. This entry-level opportunity will be based at our Newburgh premises, with travel to sites across Aberdeenshire and beyond. The post offers a blend of practical, hands-on experience with theoretical learning, providing you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in your career.
This Traineeship will focus on developing steel and cladding skills and provide an opportunity to learn from an experienced on-site team. Additionally, trainees will earn qualifications including but not restricted to first aid, CSCS, H&S, IPAF, and an SVQ in cladding/steel erecting.

Role Requirements:
- Can demonstrate base knowledge of the construction industry (or a willingness to learn!).
- Able to communicate with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and external contacts.
- Works accurately, with an attention to detail.
- Comfortable working on construction sites, and operating machinery whilst adhering to strict safety instructions.
- Dedicated to continual learning, and commitment to Trainee programme.
- Able to use Outlook, Word, Excel, and communication apps on a phone/tablet.
